Cookie Policy
Which cookies the website uses, why, and how to change your consent.
Effective from 13 October 2026.
1. Who we are
The website www.mindbe.eu is operated by MindBe s.r.o., company ID 21205183, registered office Na Folimance 2155/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website uses, why and for how long – and how you can change your consent.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way – the data stays on your device and is not sent to our server. For simplicity, we call both “cookies” below.
3. Cookies we use
Necessary – no consent required
The website would not work properly without them. They do not track you and are not shared with anyone.
| Name | Purpose | Retention | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| mindbe_consent | Remembers your cookie settings | 180 days | browser storage |
| mindbe_theme | Remembers the light or dark appearance | until deleted in the browser | browser storage |
| mindbe_splash | Prevents the intro animation from showing repeatedly | until the browser is closed, or until deleted | session / browser storage |
Only for MindBe staff logged in to the administration, WordPress sets login cookies (wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_…, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-…) and the login security cookie mbs_trust_… (trusted device, 30 days). Regular visitors never receive them.
Analytics – only with your consent
They help us understand which pages people read and how they found us, so we can improve the website. We use Google Analytics 4. Until you consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all (Google Consent Mode v2).
| Name | Purpose | Retention | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors for anonymous traffic statistics | 2 years | |
| _ga_SBFJDE9XDZ | Keeps the session state for statistics | 2 years |
The provider is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. See the Google Privacy Policy.
4. What we do not use
- Advertising or marketing cookies – no cross-site tracking, no Facebook Pixel, no remarketing.
- Social media plugins – the article share buttons are plain links; nothing connects to Facebook, LinkedIn or X unless you click them.
- Third-party video embeds and fonts – fonts are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts.
- The map comes from OpenStreetMap and stores no cookies. The “Navigate” link opens Google Maps only when you click it.
- Google reviews are loaded on our server – your browser does not connect to Google for them.
- Forms and the newsletter store no cookies. The details you enter are used only to handle your message or send you news.
5. How to change or withdraw consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in Cookie settings (the link is also in the footer of every page). We will ask you again after 180 days. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings – the website will keep working, it just won’t remember your choices.
6. Contact
For questions about cookies and personal data, write to us at info@mindbe.cz. How we handle data from forms and the newsletter is described in the Privacy Policy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
7. Changes to this policy
If we start using other tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again where needed.
